| TERRE HAUTE — CLINTON — Lenora “Lee” Humphrey, 84, of Clinton, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, in Union Hospital Clinton. She was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Clinton, the daughter of James Thomson and Methyl McKinney Thomson. She was a bookkeeper for the Daily Clintonian, Southard Trucking, D.E. Humphrey and Son Garage, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Jerusalem Chapter 254, Past Worthy Matron and a member of the Rio Grande Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Edgar Humphrey, on May 18, 2010; brother, Bill Thomson; and twin sister, Dee Carrico. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Reynolds of Clinton; son, Tim (Jennifer) Humphrey of Terre Haute; and grandchildren, AJ Reynolds, Jacob, Jeremy, Jordan and Joshua Humphrey. Services will be Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Frist Funeral Home, 458 Blackman St., in Clinton, with Brother Sam Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute. Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home |
